Simple Treasures Boutique in Farmington

I have been crocheting like crazy the last week!  We got invited at the last minute to share in a booth with my cousin at the Simple Treasures Boutique at the Farmington Fairgrounds.  We are selling our skirts and my hats, and my cousin Brigette has darling hair bows and onesies.  The boutique is being held through Saturday, December 4th.  Even if you aren't interested in what we are selling, you should totally go check out this boutique!  We took a walk around, and there is some really amazing stuff!!  Great Christmas gift ideas!  Following, of course, are a bunch of photos!!

The Holiday Pettiskirts Are In!

Pending an oncoming BLIZZARD, we didn't get the photos we wanted this time, plus our girls just weren't having it.  But the skirts are here, and they are LOVELY!

Holiday Pettiskirts!!

Just to keep you all updated, last week we put in an order for some pettiskirts for the holidays!

I have posted the tiny thumbnails below, to give you the basic idea of what they look like.  You'll probably need bifocals to see them, but at least you'll get the jist!  We have ordered the skirts in beautiful color combinations for the holidays and this time we have each color available in two different sizes!

Also, we have (on a trial basis) changed the way sizing works.  Instead of 4 different sizes available, we are only doing 3 sizes - small, medium and large.  The previous medium and large were so close in size (there was only one inch difference in length) that we have eliminated that medium, and what was previously called a "small" is now "medium".  And what use to be called "x-small" is now a "small".  There is now a 2-inch difference between each of the sizes.

But just to get you excited, here's what will be arriving in a couple of weeks:

Red with Black trim

sizes small (what used to be x-small) and medium

Black with White trim

sizes small and large

Cream Lace (top layer of chiffon is actually ivory lace!!)

Chunky Chic Hat

Introducing:

the Chunky Chic Hat

I adore winter hats.  I L-O-V-E this hat!  I started working on finding the perfect crochet hat pattern because my favorite winter hat was getting old and nasty.   I found a pattern I liked, and have revised it multiple times, until it is now exactly how I like it.

It is made with a bulky yarn, and has a slouchy fit.  I can make it to your specifications (size, color, and weight of yarn).  Here are some examples of the colors and different variations of the hat.

It looks a bit more orangey-brown in person

This hat is made using a lighter-weight yarn (still bulky, but a step down from the others).

Has flecks of black and tan in it, which makes it very versatile.

                                                         The hat is also available in Plum

These hats are made with an acrylic/wool blend.  They have the warmth of wool, but they are machine washable, and they do not itch.

Fall is Here!

Our Fall shipment of pettiskirts finally came in!  We are soooo excited about these new designs! 
Following are some photos of these beautiful new skirts in unique color combinations!

This is the Light Purple/Dark Purple in an X-Small. 

It was FREEZING outside when we took these, so my baby is NOT happy, but this is to show you how versatile the sizing is.  This is the same skirt, in the same size.

We are, unfortunately, already out of stock in these.  We may order more in the near future.  Let us know if you are interested.

This is the hot pink/black in a large.

It hits mid-calf on our 3-year-olds, and mid-thigh on me.  :)

Courtney is modeling the Owl Hat.  We are so excited to start selling these as well!

This is the Brown Leopard-Print in a size Medium.

It has different colored tiers, and underneath the first layer is a lighter rustic brown that shows through the top layer of chiffon.
